Important: Trusthelm is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. The information and tools we provide are for educational and organizational purposes only.

AI-generated summaries and extractions are automated tools intended to help you understand your documents. They are not legal interpretations and should be reviewed by a qualified professional.
3. User Responsibilities
By using Trusthelm, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself and your trust
- Ensure you have the legal right to upload and manage the documents you submit
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding trust administration
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
4. AI Processing
Trusthelm uses artificial intelligence (specifically Anthropic models) to process your uploaded documents and extract information. By using our service, you consent to this processing.
You understand that:
- AI extractions are automated and may not be 100% accurate
- You should review and verify all AI-generated information
- AI-generated summaries are not legal interpretations
- We do not train AI models on your data without your explicit consent
5. Data Ownership and Privacy
You retain ownership of all data you upload to Trusthelm. We do not claim any ownership rights to your trust documents or information.
You may:
- Export your data at any time (PDF, CSV, or bulk download)
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Control who has access to your trust information
We will never sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
6. Payment Terms
Trusthelm offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:
- You will be billed according to the pricing plan you select
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refunds are provided at our discretion or as required by law
- We may change pricing with advance notice
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trusthelm and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our service.
This limitation applies whether the damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or our service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 if you have not paid for the service.
8. Disclaimers
Trusthelm is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The service will meet your specific requirements
- The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results from using the service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the service will be corrected
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Trusthelm shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Arbitration shall take place in Birmingham, Alabama, unless otherwise agreed by the parties. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
You agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Modification of Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of Trusthelm after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Trusthelm at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease, but you may still export your data.
